Organizer & Eligibility

• The “MYDIN REWARDS - SNAKE BOARD GAME” contest is organized by MYDIN MOHAMED HOLDINGS BERHAD (MYDIN) (Company No.: 199101011136 (221448-A)) (referred to as "The Organizer").
• This contest is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above, and permanent residents with valid identification documents eligible to participate in this contest (“Participants”).
• The following individuals are not eligible to participate in this contest:
• Employees of The Organizer [including affiliated companies, subsidiaries, or related entities] and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses]; and/or
• Representatives, staff, workers, and/or agents of the advertising service providers and/or promotional agents for The Organizer [including affiliated and related companies], and their immediate family members [children, parents, siblings, including spouses].

Contest Period & Entry Criteria

• This contest will run from 12:00 AM on 15 January until 11:59 PM on 12 February 2025 (Malaysia Time) (“contest Period”).
• Any entries received after the contest Period will be rejected and considered void.

• The Organizer reserves the right to amend, extend, or terminate the contest, including the entire contest Period, at its sole discretion with prior notice.

How to Participate

• Download the MYDIN Rewards app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Register a new MYDIN Rewards account for new users or log in to an existing account for returning users.
• Play the SNAKE BOARD GAME (“Game”), and 10 lucky winners have the chance to win a Supermarket Sweep worth RM888.
• How to play the game:
• The participant rolls the dice, and the piece will move according to the number rolled.
• If the participant lands on a number with no question, they continue the game and advance to the next spot.
• If the player lands on a number with a question, they must answer the question displayed on the screen.
• If the answer is correct, the participant will receive a discount voucher for items in the MYDIN Rewards Catalogue and advance according to the dice roll.
• If the answer is incorrect, the participant will not be eligible to redeem the voucher and must roll the dice and continue playing.
• Participants have a chance to win the Supermarket Sweep worth RM888 when they roll the dice and land on number 52.
• By participating in this game, Participants are deemed to have read and agreed to the privacy notice stated in these Terms and Conditions.

Winner Selection

• Winners will be selected based on the following:
• Prize Winner Selection: At the end of the Prize Period, eligible participants will be randomly shortlisted by an automated system based on the number of valid entries received during the contest Period (“Selected Participants”).
• To avoid any doubt, only entries submitted within the relevant contest Period are eligible to win one (1) prize for that period.
• Each Participant (if selected as a winner) is only eligible to win ONE (1) prize during the contest Period.
• All decisions made by the Organizer regarding this contest, including but not limited to shortlisting, winner selection, prizes, and disqualification of prizes, are final. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. The winner selection is subject to the eligibility requirements and participation criteria determined at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

Prizes & Redemption

• The prizes for this contest are:

• All images of prizes shown in any advertisements, promotional publicity, and other materials related to this contest are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual prizes received.
• For prize winners: If the Selected Participant cannot be contacted after THREE attempts on each working day for three consecutive days (Monday – Friday) after the end of the contest Period, the Organizer reserves the right to contact the next randomly selected participant and declare them the winner as per the above process.
• Participants must provide identification proof (Malaysian ID card or passport) during or before prize redemption for verification of participation. Illegible/expired/damaged purchase proof is invalid and will be disqualified from the contest.
• Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions set by third-party prize suppliers (if applicable). To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer and its agents are not responsible for any liabilities, losses, and damages arising from any delay, cancellation, postponement, or changes to the prize details or any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, or for any act or default by any vendor or third-party supplier.
• The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage to the prize during the redemption process. Lost or damaged prizes during delivery will not be replaced, and the Organizer has the right to deny any obligation to replace or fulfill the prize.
• Any additional costs (e.g., travel expenses) incurred for redeeming or claiming the prize will be fully borne by the winner.
• The Organizer reserves the right to postpone the prize redemption date or change the location for prize collection in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
• The Organizer will not be responsible for or liable for any transportation costs related to prize redemption and/or delivery. Any additional costs, duties, taxes, and/or incidental expenses or charges incurred in connection with the prize will be fully borne by the winner.
• Prize delivery to selected winners depends on the availability of the prize, which will be communicated to the selected winners by the Organizer from time to time.
• All decisions made by the Organizer regarding the contest, including but not limited to the winner list and prizes, are final and binding. No correspondence, queries, appeals, or objections from Participants will be entertained.
• The Organizer will contact the Selected Participants via the contact information provided during the submission process.
• All winners must claim their prizes within the period set by the Organizer after being contacted by the Organizer (via SMS or other forms of communication). If the winner fails to claim the prize or appoint a representative within the stipulated period, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the prize or award it to another winner. Winners must provide proof of identity to redeem/receive their prize. All prizes for this contest will be awarded after the end of the contest Period.
• If a winner needs a representative to claim the prize on their behalf, the representative must bring a signed letter of authorization from the winner along with copies of both the winner's and representative's identification documents.
• Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. The Organizer has the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value at its sole discretion. The Organizer, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors, and representatives are not responsible for damaged or misused prizes, or claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising from or related to this contest.

Organizer’s Rights

• By participating in this contest, Participants agree to give permission to the Organizer to use, publish, or display the names and photographs of winners (if any) for advertising, marketing, publicity, and any other purpose in any publication, distribution, or display channel without prior notice or payment of royalties or compensation to the winners. Winners do not have the right to make ownership claims or other compensations against such materials.
• The Organizer reserves the right to replace prizes with other prizes of equal value without prior notice.
• If for any reason, this contest cannot be conducted as planned due to (but not limited to) computer virus outbreaks, hacking, unauthorized interference, fraud, technical failure, or any reason beyond control, the Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest.
• The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant and/or entry found or suspected of cheating/hacking/abusing/manipulating the contest entry process, operation, or violating any of the Terms and Conditions of this contest.
• The Organizer reserves the right to amend any of these Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice.
• In addition to these Terms and Conditions, the contest instructions and procedures as described on the website www.mydin.my or elsewhere will also bind all Participants and their entries in this contest.
• If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any terms contained in any promotional material for this contest, the Terms and Conditions on www.mydin.my will prevail. If there is any inconsistency between the English and Malay versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Malay version will apply.
• By participating in this contest, Participants consent to the Organizer or any third party appointed by the Organizer processing their personal data for the purpose of the contest.
• Unless stated otherwise, all transportation costs, internet charges, personal costs, and/or any costs, fees, and/or expenses incurred by Participants in connection with this contest (whether for participation, submission of entries, or prize receipt) will be fully borne by the winner/Participants. The Organizer, its affiliates, appointed agents, or representatives will not be responsible for any costs/charges/fees/expenses incurred by Participants in connection with this contest.
• The Organizer, its affiliates, and/or appointed third parties are not responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed entries due to any technical errors.

Liability and Responsibility

• Participants and winners will bear full responsibility in case of any liabilities, unintended incidents, injuries, damages, claims, or accidents (including death) caused by their participation in this contest and/or prize redemption and/or use of the prize, and agree to release the Organizer and its agencies from any claims regarding any injuries, accidents, loss of life, or financial losses and others.
• To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer or its officers, employees, representatives, and/or agents (including any third-party service providers dealing with the Organizer for the purpose of this contest) shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including loss of income, profits, or reputation, or indirect, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or special damages to any party, including third parties) arising from or related to this contest, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, even if the Organizer has been advised of the possibility of such damage in advance, and all such damages are hereby denied.
• By participating in this contest, Participants agree to abide by the decisions made by the Organizer and accept the Terms and Conditions of the contest and all decisions made by the Organizer.
• The Organizer advises Participants to take necessary precautions when receiving phone calls or messages requesting personal information during or after the contest. Participants are also advised to contact the Organizer for verification regarding this contest.

Privacy Notice

• By participating in this contest, Participants agree and give permission to the Organizer to collect, store, use, and process their name, identification card number (IC), and other personal details (“Personal Data”) for the purpose of conducting this contest, including but not limited to the announcement and publication of Personal Data and/or photos of Participants on the Organizer’s website for advertising and publicity purposes.
• By participating in this contest, Participants also give consent and permission to the Organizer to share or collect their Personal Data, including with third parties (if necessary), including the Organizer's agents. All such third parties are required by contract not to use the Participants' Personal Data except as stated here.
• Under Malaysian law, Participants have the following rights:
  • The right to withdraw consent for the use of Personal Data at any time by contacting the Organizer at the contact address provided below by giving the Participant's name and email address for the deletion of such Personal Data;
  • The right to obtain a copy of the Personal Data held by the Organizer;
  • The right to correct any inaccurate Personal Data.
• Any data protection issues with the Organizer, activities related to the legal rights of Participants, please refer to the Organizer's website at www.mydin.my or contact the Organizer's customer service line at 1300-30-8786 or email mydincareline@aim-net.com.my.
• The Organizer will take reasonable precautions to securely store Participants' Personal Data and may require third-party processing of data to do so. However, the Organizer may disclose Participants' Personal Data if required by law, search warrant, subpoena, or court order.
• Any matters related to Personal Data related to this contest will be governed and managed according to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any relevant laws in Malaysia.
